It seems this page is now explicitly and canonically acknowledging that you have no context for how you got into this jam, or will get out of it. It seems almost as if the page is divorced from the narrative entirely and had no cause, nor will it affect later pages. Is the story becoming self aware enough to know that an early jester has figured out how to become later jesters to skip way ahead in the story, and the baffling, out of context moments are accounting for this confusion?
You fucking hate this, because it's just more mind bending meta nonsense. Trying to understand its nature is actually more aggravating than being strapped to a rocked ship while Jollacrity laughs her ass off, so you just try being a different jester instead.
But this time, you focus all your energy on being a jester who's safe in your bunker, with computer access, so you can investigate what the fuck is going on with this story without actually LIVING through all the stupid and dangerous moments. If it's all the same to various versions of yourself, you'd rather just read about it.
