Jester: Be yourself 20 minutes from now

page49_1.gif

The mirthful character called "StarWafer" seems to have the right idea, and kicks you ahead by 20 minutes, by telling you to be the Jester who exists 20 minutes from now, which you do successfully.

Ok, that sucked, because nothing changed at all. Apparently for the past 20 minutes, you just stood around here doing nothing? Maybe you've been hitting the bunker blunts and vapes a little too hard.

What's worse is, even though you can clearly see the clock is 20 minutes ahead from where you last remember, the page number has only been incremented by one. You just moved forward to the next page, wherein the narrative timeskips by 20 minutes, and nothing happened at all. So you think this means that "time" doesn't correlate with "page number"... or really even much of anything. Time seems to just do whatever. All you know is, stuff is happening, somewhere, on some page, at any given moment. And when you think about it, that's pretty deep, isn't it? And you aren't just saying that because you're stoned out of your mind. Wait, yes you are.
