This is easily your favorite work by this author, and perhaps your most beloved story of all time. Most in the circus feel this way. You remember like it was yesterday.
20 years ago, you joined this circus, and it was nothing but struggle and toil under the watchful eye of your highly unpleasant ringmaster. Then, two years later, a new comic began which followed the woefully paused BARD QUEST (this is a sore subject among the circus), and its banned, blocked, and highly illegal predecessor, JAILBREAK.
The new comic was called JESTER QUEST. For 18 years after that, JQ became a constant source of joy and relief from the perpetual drudgery and sorrow of this circus.
What you wouldn't give to be this jester. Yes, they are technically trapped in a bunker for 18 years waiting for Bard Quest to update, and yet, you've never seen such a free spirit in your life. Going on an endless series of frustrating escapades as tulpas with a huge ensemble cast, while besting a wide array of random political figures and shitty memes, sounds like it beats the hell out of working your ass off at this circus for two decades, that is, whenever you're not rotting in prison.
Come to think of it, you actually can't remember a single day you've spent in this circus where you WEREN'T in jail.
